Following university and an initial period with the Sunday Times, Melanie embarked on a headhunting career with London based human capital and search consultancy, The Penna Group plc.
Following a number of years success managing teams and developing new search markets, Melanie moved with her young family to the South Coast and joined an established search firm to develop their legal offering.
She founded Opening Move in 2009 as a boutique private practice legal search firm. She continues to focus on delivering client projects where her considerable knowledge of the legal market and consultative approach ensures client satisfaction over the long term.
